This Committee assists in formulating HRRA’s estimated budget. Final review is completed by the Board of Directors. Please submit in writing or email the Association Office your willingness to serve on this committee no later than noon on August 18 2020. Appointment to this Committee will take place during the August 18, 2020, Regular Board Meeting. This is a perfect opportunity to learn the financial aspects of HRRA!

Your contribution will help provide scholarships to Pershing County residents accepted into graduate programs in the medical fields such as Medical School, Nursing, Radiology, Medical Technologists etc., in exchange for their service to our community upon Graduation.
The Pershing Healthcare Foundation is able to provide these scholarships because of your generous donations, thus ensuring the continuity of healthcare in our community for present and future generations. Your contribution is tax deductible.

The Pershing Healthcare foundations was formed in August 2015 with the support of the Pershing General Hospital Board of Trustees. It is, however, a separate organization. There is an 8-member Board.
The Board is made up as follows:
2 members from the Hospital Board of Trustees, The Hospital CEO, The Hospital Director of Human Resources, Representative from the Pershing County Board of Commissioners, Representative from the Lovelock City Council, Representative from the Pershing County School District, Representative from the Pershing County Economic Development Committee
We received approval from the Nevada Secretary of State as a non-profit organization in March 20165 and as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization from the IRS in April 2016. All contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
The Purposes of the Foundation are:

- Provide financial/scholarship assistance, as possible, to those residents of Pershing County who desire to further their professional education in a healthcare profession and to return to Pershing County to practice that profession following completion of the program; with the proviso that the Foundation be reimbursed if the individual does not complete his/her commitment to the Pershing County community.
- Promote growth and improvement of the Pershing General Hospital and Nursing Home in accordance with the needs of the community.
- Sponsor projects and programs for the benefit of the Pershing General Hospital and Nursing Home and the Citizens of Pershing County; and to
- Assure the continued convenient availability of essential healthcare services, as feasible, to meet the needs of the citizens of, and visitors to, Pershing County.
